TESTIMONIALS

The lake is beautiful. We enjoyed swimming, fishing, boating and just relaxing on the dock or by the campfire at night. The location is close to Traverse City shopping, restaurants and the wineries. We made side trips to Sleeping Bear national park and Cherry Republic. We rented the pontoon boat for a day to explore the lake and fish. We also had a jet ski delivered from TC water sports one day for those who wanted to go a little faster. The house is so clean and comfortable that we all felt at home right away. It would be hard to overstate how gracious and welcoming Jennifer and her family were right from the beginning. Our group consisted of my husband and myself, our 3 adult children and our 8 year old grandson. There was something for everyone and we all had a great time!

We had a great stay at the Bass Lake Lodge. Everything was ready to go - super clean and convenient. The kitchen and bath are nicely updated and the bedrooms are comfortable. Enjoyed the lake - the fire pit and explored the trails nearby walking. Close to TC but very peaceful and relaxing. We would come back for sure!

The cottage has a beautiful view of Bass Lake. The cottage itself is very clean and has everything you need. The master sized bed was brand new and very comfortable. The kitchen is new and fresh. Jennifer is great and has some extras for you when you stay--ground coffee in the kitchen and shampoo in the bathroom. We loved the gas fireplace, it really warmed the room. When we were there the weather was cold and rainy so we couldn't enjoy the outside-- but there is a spacious deck with a large patio table and 6 chairs, a fire pit by the lake, gas grill, rowboat. Jennifer is easy to work with and makes herself (or her husband) available if any problems should arise. She even brought over some cherry salsa and chips and introduced herself. We would definitely come back.
